To say that internet comments are often misinformed is kind of like saying Nelson Mandela was a pretty cool guy. It's about as understated as understatements get.

We at Beyond Bars get our share of overheated, ill-advised, and ignorant comments on our videos and social media pages. So we enlisted comedian Elon James White, host of the web series and radio show "This Week In Blackness," to dispel some of the untruths and dumb stuff offered up by commenters on our YouTube and Facebook pages.

One commenter, for instance, was certain that "To say that whites use weed more than negroes is just insane." Watch Elon hit that one -- and a bunch of others -- out of the park:
