Some crime victims think the most important thing in the justice system is long, harsh prison terms. The survivors in this video believe something different: that the real question is how communities can heal after crime. That means better services for crime victims, stronger rehabilitation programs for offenders, and a robust network of prevention programs to ensure crimes don't happen in the first place.
